OrangeWare has announced a Macintosh driver for wireless 001c802.11a/b/g cards using the Atheros chipset.

The Wireless Setup v2_1t.mpkg package will install all components necessary for your wireless card to function under Mac OS X v10.2 or greater.

Realtek released official Drivers for Realtek 802.11ac USB-adapters for OS X 10.10 Yosemite. You can take in a folder: RTL8812AUDriverv1035UI2.3.0 The installer contain RTL8812AU.kext version v1035. Bottom of page, find the Mac driver package (v1.0.0.3, click under 'Mac' column) 3. Inside the archive you will find several installers for several OS X-es. Choose the one which fits. Apparently, all versions have the most used Realtek chips, so they seem quasi-universal 4. Install, restart. Insert USB WiFi dongle into an USB port. Follow the steps below to enable Epson Connect for your Epson printer on a Mac. Important: Your product needs to be set up with a network connection before it can be set up with Epson Connect. Once identified use Google to search for Apple Mac OS drivers for your WiFi chipset/product, in my case this was a RTL8191SU based dongle and it had a working Apple Mac OS X driver for the most current Mac OS X Mountain Lion version (Apple Mac OS X 10.8.4). A simple download and install, followed by a reboot did the trick as shown below.
Open 'System Preferences' and click 'Network.' Press 'OK' when the 'New Port Detected' dialog box appears, then press Apply Now.

The Interface that connects to the Internet, needs to be drug to the top of System Preferences>Network>Show:>Network Port Configurations and checked ON.
